Mark Knopfler is a british guitarist, singer and song writer best known as the lead guitarist and vocalist of Dire Straits.  Mark, is one of the most respected guitarists of modern rock and he was ranked #27 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of 100 greatest guitarists of all time.  He is 59 and he still rocks on!

2007: Honorary Doctor of Music at Sunderland University
2009: Knopfler’s British Grove Studios won Music Producers Guild Award as Best Studio

Mark shows off his guitar techniques while he sends a shiver down your spine with this song (Brother in Arms, from Dire Striats’ 1985 album Brother in arms).  A 24 years old song and it still sounds great, doesn’t it?
