In every genre of music, there are grand fathers, god fathers, legends, icons and gods! In the heavy metal scene there are many legends, icons and gods, but there is one band that can be classified even higher than all the rest; Black Sabbath, the Titans of heavy metal.
After 33 years of media speculations, gossip and false positive news, the original Black Sabbath line-up who sang about the Devil, Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward are finally back heading back to the studio to record a new …

Tin Kite – The Missing Toms debut album review

So, this is a review of an album called The Missing Toms by a band called Tin Kite. Tin Kite is a band formed by lasse buch and jeppe dobel, two twenty year old Danish guys.  So, I decided to dive in and give it a go.

FRANCOBOLLO is a four piece band which originates from an island where the Queen still has power to dissolve the parliament, aka United Kingdom, and the cold land of the Vikings, aka as dark Sweden. Simon Nilsson is on vocals and guitars, Sean Bean is the one who beats the drums, while …

The Damn Jammage – Well Hanged EP review

The Damn Jammage have only been on the scene since 2010, having seemingly burst out of North London fully-formed and slightly insane, with huge infusions of Tom Waits and Nick Cave. Considering that those are two of my favourite artists, I figured that I’d give these guys a spin.
No Rest For The Crooked’s heavy tom-based intro sounds like The Birthday Party mixed with the growl of Tom Wait’s, a mix of the weird cabaret that both these artists have experimented with and embraced. The Eastern-European beat drives this song completely, …
